When 2012 began, I started off the year right, surrounded by my family and future husband in California.
In March, my best friend and Maid of Honor, Angela, threw me a fantastic bridal shower. I was so blessed that my mom and sister were able to make the trip to Virginia to celebrate with me!
May was a big month. It started with a weekend celebration in D.C. for my bachelorette party…
…And it ended with a bang. I married the love of my life on the 19.
Then we jetted off to the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon!
In August, I got to spend some quality time with family in Georgia.
In September, I started this little blog and have been amazed at the wonderful sense of community I’ve found in the blogosphere. (Thank y’all!)
November came and I conquered a huge goal of mine: I ran my first half marathon, and I found myself officially addicted to running (which I never could have imagined!).
It only seems right that I’ve made it full circle. Today I’m ending the year surrounded by family: my mom, dad, sister, husband and I will ring in 2013 together.
If 2012 was this good to me, I can’t even imagine all of the wonderful things that will come in 2013.
