A Power Outfit

Is it just me or is there something about wearing all black that makes you feel fearless and authoritative? In this outfit, I feel like I could runway stomp right up to the CEO and demand a promotion (or at least a raise or an extra day off or something…).

Another thing that makes me feel powerful and confident? A bold red lip.

Wow, you look fabulous! Yes to bold red lips – they’re making even shy me feel stronger.

While I wouldn’t say I have one power outfit per se I’m feeling best when I’m comfortable in my clothes. Most often that means a special dress, tights and high-heeled boots. The boots are a must seeing as I’m a short person and therefore need some added centimetres to feel powerful :).

I love this! Pencil skirts in general are kind of a power piece for women… love the fun top thrown in!

Okay, your blog is so dang cute! I love this outfit. I love the bracelets you put with it too. They give it a little “edge.” You look so pretty girlie! 🙂
