Dressing for a Casual Cookout

With the four day Fourth of July weekend nearly upon us, all I can think about is spending time outside with friends. Poolside grilling, cookouts, and Independence Day picnics are right around the corner! Last week I showed you an option that was a little bit dressier. Today’s is more casual and perfect for lounging around in the grass!what to wear to a cookoutThis fresh white eyelet top screams Summer to me, and I don’t know if you can get any more American than a great pair of cutoff denim shorts. With a little added sparkle from my sandals and accessories, I’m ready to celebrate.J.Crew eyelet embroidered tankwhat to wear to a cookoutfourth of july picnicSummer jewelrywhat to wear to picnicWhat’s your favorite picnic or cookout outfit?

Haha, thanks Melissa! I’m pretty sure it’s a prerequisite that you buy these sandals before signing up for a WordPress or Blogger account these days, but the strange things is that I have not seen a single person wear them in real life! Did all the bloggers buy them up?! 😉

I haven’t met anything eyelet that I didn’t love! And I really really want some distressed jean shorts, and you wearing them makes me want them more. Perfect look for a relaxing 4th of July, which is exactly what we have planned!
