I’m beginning to sound like a broken record – I know. But my chambray button down just might be the most versatile item in my closet. I reach for it time and time again. So as a follow up to my previous post, Five Ways to Wear Chambray, I’m bringing you five more ways to wear everyone’s favorite top (or maybe just my favorite). And if you’re sick of me pushing my chambray obsession on you, feel free to sub out these ideas with your favorite oxford of printed button down. It still works!
1. Under a sweater. One of my favorite ways to layer for Fall and Winter includes chambray. Throw on your favorite sweater over a denim button down for added warmth and style.

2. With a scarf. Another Fall and Spring favorite of mine? Layering a lightweight scarf with chambray. For the bottoms try an a-line skirt, jeans, or slim-cut pants.

3. Denim on denim – Canadian Tuxedo style. Try doubling the denim denim, but make sure to vary the washes to create some interest.

4. Under a dress. Layer chambray under a a tshirt dress over under a sleeveless dress to breathe new life into your dress collection.

It really is the most versatile item. My favorite lately is under the sweater look and throwing on over a tshirt when it gets a little chilly (like a cardi).

It really is the quintessential layering piece. I’ve used mine from swimsuit cover up to layered under a cable knit. Great for all seasons!
