CHEERS to graphic tees!

It’s pretty interesting to think back to my relationship with graphic tees over the years. In high school the Abercrombie graphic tees were all the rage. “Flirt like crazy, wake up sandy”, anyone?! But once I was in college, I swung the opposite direction, disliking silly sayings and slogans that people wore. I would actually internally cringe seeing my husband wear those Express graphic shirts! It wasn’t until the past year or so that I’ve started to come back around. Now, I’m not saying you’ll ever see me rocking a “sun your buns” type tee a la Abercrombie, but this Cheers shirt from J.Crew is right up my alley. j.crew cheers tee with jcrew buffalo plaid button downIt’s simple, not overly flashy, and it just so happened to perfectly match my buffalo plaid flannel button down for a relaxed weekend look. Meant to be if you ask me! Maybe it’s about time I work on expanding this graphic tee collection. How do you feel about graphic tees? Did you have any of the old school Abercrombie ones?!

Ooh it’s so cute! And yea, I’m slowly coming back around to graphic tees. I used to have a TON of those Threadless tees in college, and then some American Eagle graphic tees /ones from other stores (I didn’t buy abercrombie, too expensive)

This is an absolutely adorable casual look!

Much like yourself, lately I have found myself back on board with the graphic tee trend. I am still very choosy when selecting a graphic tee, but love the simple slogan/graphic tees.

The tee that you have featured is perfect! Trendy without looking childlike or having a silly slogan! And the plaid that you have paired it with looks like it was meant for the tee! LOVE!!!

the graphic tee really has made a resurgence into being chic again, and they are better than ever! Cute, FITTED, and easily dressed up. They are everything a graphic tee should be and a far cry from what we wore in high school.

Great tee! I think that more good options have been coming out for graphic tees so that helps a lot. I sort of went through the same thing as you, loving then hating graphic tees, and now coming back around to loving them again!

I have had basically the same relationship with graphic tees as you have. I really like the one you are wearing above and it looks great under that plaid shirt.

I love that tee! And isn’t it funny how our tastes change? I was super into those Abercrombie tees too! And then a few years later thought they were the stupidest thing ever. And of course, now I love them again!
