Mix it: Denim Jackets for Work and Weekend

Before the cold came back in (again), we had a beautiful, sunny Saturday at the beach. It was absolutely gorgeous, walking the pups along the sand. For my beachside mini-vacay, I broke out cropped pants and Keds, topping it off with a little denim. I felt a little retro but loved the casual simplicity of the look.beach spring weekend stylePants: Gap Maternity (non-maternity option), Tee: Target, Jacket: Old Navy, Shoes: Keds, Earrings: Stella & Dot, Necklace: c/o The Rad Marketjean jacket on the beachhow wear denim jacket weekenddress up black tshirt weekendcasual beach weekendwhite statement necklace over black teeIf you haven’t noticed, my denim jacket has quickly become one of my favorite pieces. I have been on the fence about denim jackets for a while and seeing how many ways you’ve rocked yours makes me feel like it’s time to buy one and give it a go!

Denim jackets are so versatile! I can’t believe I didn’t ever own one until last year. Mine is my go-to jacket for summer. I like how you’ve dressed yours up for work also. I didn’t realize a denim jacket could be work appropriate. Thanks for the inspiration Lauren!

You have done an awesome job re-mixing this Denim Jacket lately. I finally own one! I think I like this Outfit the most because it is casual, cool, classic and preppy and perfect for a Stay-at-Home Mom like me. Love your Red Keds. I own some Navy ones. I have always thought of Keds as the ultimate Preppy Sneakers. They are a Classic!

I just caught up with your blog and left you some love along the way, beautiful Mommy-to-be! When are you due?

Welcoming you to stop by my blog now and please support me by following via Bloglovin. Thanks, Ada. =)

I love your round up of all these denim looks! Also, I’m beyond jealous that you got to spend the day at the beach! I’m still waiting for this darn snow to melt 🙁

A denim jacket is a staple of mine. You can literally dress it up or down. I love all of your looks especially the southern style look. I tried one similar to that. Check it out on my blog. The name of the post is Cowboy boots and denim.
