Add Edge to a Lace Dress

Last week I had the pleasure of working with a personal stylist, Shell B Cheri, while she was driving through Richmond. Although I’d consider myself pretty skilled at remixing my own wardrobe, it was so helpful to have a fresh set of creative eyes on my closet. With a more limited maternity closet, I’d found myself in a rut, but after an hour with Shell B and seven new looks, I felt refreshed and re-inspired. This look, a perfect mix of sweetness and edge, was an instant favorite.

The last time I wore this dress, I went for a Spring-y, feminine vibe, pairing it with denim and wedges. I love how versatile a lace dress can be!

Now I’d love to see how you’re remixing your wardrobe!

Lauren, you definitely added edge to that pretty blush lace dress when pairing it with the leather vest. I did the same today when I remixed my Orange Tee with a Leather Bomber. You are 100% radiant pregnant by the way. =)

I loved seeing Amy Ann as your co-host too. I love her blog.

Have a great new week! Ada. =)

I like it, but I think I’d love it with black sandals to tie the vest back in. What a wonderful opportunity to work with a stylist, especially since, as you said, you have a smaller wardrobe to work with these days!
