Chambray Tunic Dress

Over the weekend, Aaron and I managed to break ourselves away from the baby and went on our first solo date night. I felt a little anxiety over leaving her for the first time, but of course she was absolutely fine hanging out with her aunt, uncle and cousins while we went downtown to catch Amy Schumer.

I wanted to dress up a little more than my usual jeans and top (or let’s be honest yoga pants around the house), so this chambray tunic dress was perfect. Well, if you know me, I think pretty much any occasion to wear chambray is pretty perfect! 😉 jcrew chambray dressstella dot studded braceletj.crew factory chambray tunicjcrew factory tunic

Great look! I love that you got out and had fun too! I remember when my first was 3 weeks old my MIL came up just so we could check into a hotel and sleep. 🙂 It was great!

Good for you getting out for a date night! I think it’s healthy for everyone – important to maintain your identity as a couple, and good for babies to be familiar with other people. We were intentional about that, and now at almost a year old we’ve never had any issues whatsoever with stranger anxiety or clinginess. Love the dress too! Can’t go wrong with chambray in any form.

Yay for your first date night! I want to be so intentional about that when this baby is here! And I love the chambray shirt dress – it’s cute, simple and flattering. Chambray always wins!
