Over the weekend, Aaron and I managed to break ourselves away from the baby and went on our first solo date night. I felt a little anxiety over leaving her for the first time, but of course she was absolutely fine hanging out with her aunt, uncle and cousins while we went downtown to catch Amy Schumer.
I wanted to dress up a little more than my usual jeans and top (or let’s be honest yoga pants around the house), so this chambray tunic dress was perfect. Well, if you know me, I think pretty much any occasion to wear chambray is pretty perfect! 😉Â

Great look! I love that you got out and had fun too! I remember when my first was 3 weeks old my MIL came up just so we could check into a hotel and sleep. 🙂 It was great!

You are totally right, a chambray dress is right for allllll occasions!
Good for you getting out for a date night! I think it’s healthy for everyone – important to maintain your identity as a couple, and good for babies to be familiar with other people. We were intentional about that, and now at almost a year old we’ve never had any issues whatsoever with stranger anxiety or clinginess. Love the dress too! Can’t go wrong with chambray in any form.
Loving this! Those boots are such a great color!!
Yay for your first date night without baby! It’s always good to have family nearby to help out

I like this a lot! I’ve been trying to find one but can’t. I think I waited too long now that it’s getting colder. Happy Wednesday!
Hi Lauren
Love the look, I like the stylish look of a shirtdress, and the comfort it also provides. Love the boots as well, I bought 2 pair of booties from Tarshay this year too!
