Two Ways to Wear Flannel Plaid

Flannel plaid buttons down are a Fall wardrobe staple, but are you in a rut with how to style them? I used to solely pair them with denim and boots, but lately I’ve become more creative, dressing them up and down.

One of my favorite ways to mix it up is by opening my button down over a tee. For even cooler temps, throwing on a cargo or leather jacket really completes the look!Old Navy Field Jacket layered with plaid and a tshirt

To make plaid a bit dressier, there is nothing like some serious bling to amp up the look. Forget the lumberjack stereotype, with a skirt and heels, plaid can be glam!

I always look forward to pulling out the plaid each fall! I love both of these looks–especially how you dressed up your plaid with that cute skirt and necklace. I need to try this cute idea!

Love both of these plaid looks! The plaid shirt looks just as great as part of the casual layered look as it does dressed up with the blinging necklace and flippy skirt!
