Long Cardigan with Shorts

Um, I’m sorry. Where did that weekend go?! It feels like the last week has absolutely flown by, mostly because I’ve been on party planning overdrive, but it doesn’t feel like I got a moment’s rest this weekend. Aaron was busy with work all Saturday, and Sunday was Layla’s big party day, so basically there was no reprieve. I was on full-time mommy duty. Cue exhaustion. I have a feeling that this week is going to consist of a whole lot of chill time at home. Luckily Layla and I have a whole set of new toys and games to entertain us while chilling in pj’s. Yep, I’m calling it: comfy clothes all week FTW.

And speaking of comfy clothes, long cardigans. They are one of my favorite pieces for Fall and Winter. They’re great with leggings, jeans, and yep, even shorts! For early Fall, I love it with a comfy tee and distressed shorts. To make it feel a bit more “Fall”, I added my cut-out booties.

    I so love this look as much as I love fall outfits with sandals! But for some reason as soon as it is cool enough for sweaters, my legs and feet are the first to get cold, so I can never quite pull off these looks.
